English Premier  League:  Chelsea 2-4 Arsenal

In England, Arsenal have revived their pursuit of a top 4 finish in the Premier League, as they ended a run of 3 defeats, with a crucial 4-2 victory, at Chelsea.

Eddie Nketiah put the Gunners ahead after 13 minutes, when he pounced on an awful back-pass, to fire past Edouard Mendy.

The lead lasted just 4 minutes, with Chelsea drawing level when a deflected shot by Timo Werner found its way to the back of the net.

The goals continued to flow as Emile Smith Rowe, slotted home in style, to put Arsenal back in front, midway through the first half.

Soon afterwards, Chelsea Captain Cesar Azpilicueta converted a cross from Mason Mount to restore parity, for the second time.

The hosts were unable to stop a third Arsenal goal, as Nketiah once again benefited from a bit of luck to poke home from close range, just before the hour mark. And Bukayo Saka’s late penalty secured the 4-2 win for Mikel Arteta’s men, who are now level on 57 points with 4th-placed Tottenham, while Chelsea sit 5 points ahead of the 2, on 3rd.
